"William Shatner has spoken out about George "Sulu" Takei's wedding snub and put a video on YouTube slamming his former "Star Trek" costar. On the video he refers to Takei's recent marriage to partner Brad Altman and the multitude of press stories Takei cooperated with talking about his decision not to invite Shatner to the wedding."
APATHETIC ME SAYS: I think it's wonderful Takei was able to come out and marry his partner. It's too bad it took as long as it did on both counts. That said, Takei — who is excellent, but not a lead actor — would have been just another supporting cast member on Hawaii-5-0 if it wasn't for William Shatner. Sorry George if you think Bill drank your milkshake, but it was kinda HIS milkshake. I love you both, as all trekkies do.
2) SARAH PALIN'S EXPENSIVE DUDS

Sarah Palin, her husband, and even her infant son, it was reported on Tuesday evening."APATHETIC ME SAYS: She may be selling herself as an equal of the Wal-Mart mom's across the Nation, but of course she is anything but that. Furthermore, her clothes are a huge part of her "brand." and her supporters want to see her all dolled up on high end clothes, even if they don't realize it. As a politician who is more style than substance, the style better look pretty fucking good. $150,000 is a bargain, if you ask me. She is a Republican, after all. For all I dislike about her, the cost of her clothes are the least of my issues.
